An accomplished author, film producer, director, screenwriter, playwright, and business-woman, V. Helena has been writing creatively for over 25 years.  A graduate of the University of Maryland, Marymount University, and American University, this Haitian-American has secured degrees in the areas of radio, television, film, business administration, and law.  After accepting her calling to write for the Lord in May 2001, she immediately turned her efforts towards faith-based literary writing and film production.  She also established Phoenix Rizen, LLC, a film and video production company headquartered in Maryland.  Her years of writing experience has spawned two books, as well as her first novel effort entitled, When I’m Ready, due out in stores in Fall 2012.  V. Helena lives in Maryland with her family.
